The Harry Potter Exhibition: New York City

If you’re a Harry Potter fan and you’re in NYC, I recommend checking out this cool little exhibit! It’s definitely not a huge walkthrough but I loved the interactive elements and the showcasing of actual props and costumes from the movies.

Not to brag or anything… but I’ve been to the Warner Bros. London studio tour Harry Potter Exhibit and that was probably the granddaddy tour of all HP exhibits. In comparison, I still would say it was worth to check out this NYC one! It may not have the full experience (more like little snippets of Hogwarts), but it was still fun nonetheless.

WB London tour is actually about an hour North of London, but it 1000% worth the experience. You’ll get the full immersive experience including; Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, the real-life model of the actual Hogwarts castle they use in the movie, and much, much more! But seeing as how the NYC exhibit is smack in the middle of NYC (34th street), you can’t really expect a full on experience. But what you will get is an interactive experience that’s digestible within an hour or so. It’s a good place to take a break from the city life, esp with kids. And it won’t break the bank either.
