The Great Library of Osgoode Hall
This is legit the most unintentionally Harry Potter thing I’ve ever had the pleasure of discovering. And yes, it’s actually called The Great Library of Osgoode Hall.

Even the name sounds Harry Potter-ish, but I assure you this is a safe place for muggles.
Osgoode Hall is part of the Osgoode Hall of Law School in Toronto, Canada. It’s open to the public, but it’s definitely considered more of a ‘hidden gem’ in this city. First of all, to get through, you have to go through security and I mean the whole damn thing. They check your ID, your vaccination card, and search your bags. I mean, I guess it makes sense that you’re not trying to just sneak your way into the law school itself and do something sus, whatever that might be. It’s not your typical kind of library where you can just check out any kind of book you want. It is a real, working library for Law students and professionals. Of course, one doesn’t just go through 15mins of security, frantically looking for a digital copy of their vaccination card, just to check out Canadian law citations as a civilian. You come here for the atmosphere. Simply.
If you’re Instagram savvy, it’s a cool spot to take a mini photoshoot and pretend you’re reading these Legislation law books, for clout and whatnot. But, be aware that people are actually studying here, the space is not actually that big, and even the smallest sound will echo throughout thanks to its grand ceilings. It’s a cool hidden spot to check out and admire the architecture. This place transported me into a real-world Hogwarts for a moment and it was magical.
